Working on developing capabilities in large language models.
- Staff Machine Learning Researcher - Twitter Cortex
Worked as a Staff ML researcher at Twitter Cortex. While at Cortex, I developed TwHIN embeddings which have shown tremendous impact on Twitter Ads, notifications, content ranking, health and many other verticals within Twitter. In addition to performing NLP and recommender systems research, I tech-led half a dozen projects that productionized my research within Twitter.
- Senior Research Scientist - Meta AI
Worked as a senior research scientist on multilingual machine translation and more generally NLP. Before joining full-time, I interned twice working a variety of research areas from large-scale data mining, to content understanding research.
- Research Intern - Google Research
As a research intern at Google Research, developed distributed methods for identifying sparse cross features. These techniques improved performance when used in generalized linear models.
- Research Intern - Microsoft Research
As a research intern at Microsoft Research, I developed techniques to automatically aid in writing SQL queries for target database tables and datastores based on historical query logs.
- Machine Learning Intern - Palantir Technologies
As a machine learning intern at Palantir, I developed techniques for few-shot anomaly detection in time-series data.
- Rocket Scientist - Rocket Fuel
I spent a summer working as a data scientist at this small startup called Rocket Fuel. A few years later it IPO'd and a bit later was acquired.

Spent a summer doing research in causality discovery from data working with Professor David Jensen in the Knowledge Discovery Laboratory.

Spent a summer doing research in leveraging mobile sensor networks and high-performance computing to do real-time approximation and prediction for computational fluid dynamic.
